Throughout our years as a chapter, we have received numerous awards, such as the Distinguished Chapter Award, Distinguished Officer Team Award, Distinguished Honors in Action Award, and Distinguished College Project Award. Additionally, we have consistently maintained a Five Star Chapter status, along with being recognized as a Top 100 Chapter in the Nation and a Top Texas Chapter. The Phi Tau Chapter contributes to the Tarrant County College Northeast Campus community, through volunteer opportunities for its members and the yearly College Projects that support the Northeast Campus.
Since the chapter’s origin, we have inducted over 7,000 members, and among these members, we have inducted hundreds of enhanced members. The Phi Tau Chapter affirms the Phi Theta Kappa benefits for our members, through the four hallmarks that Phi Theta Kappa portrays: scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship. By being active members, our students become actively involved in Phi Theta Kappa projects, including both the Honors in Action Project and the College Project, which support the internal community and the surrounding external community of the Tarrant County College Northeast Campus.
