Membership in Phi Theta Kappa, is a highly coveted honor that will enrich your life while you attend college and pursue your educational or career goals. I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this honor and join the ranks of scholars from over 1,200 two-year colleges nationwide. Membership eligibility is based on the number of hours you have completed and your outstanding GPA; membership is a special honor afforded to a small group of outstanding students.
Your temporary pass code for accepting membership will be sent to you via your email. You may complete the membership application on Phi Theta Kappa’s web site at www.ptk.org/acceptmembership using this pass code.
There will be an induction ceremony each semester to welcome new members into Phi Tau. Additionally, there will be several Member Orientations over the course of the year. CURRENT MEMBERS
we have had 400 members accepted in the Tarrant County College Northeast campus. Our current members include students who have completed 12 credit hours with 3.5 GPA and higher, with maintained GPA 3.0. Phi Tau chapter members are not only successful academically, but also obtain leadership skills for future career endeavors.
Phi Theta Kappa has also provided various opportunities for active members to stand out and contribute not only to our campus, but also to our community. To be an enhanced member, members or provision members are required to volunteer 12 hours to the Phi Tau Chapter and take a free leadership development class, knows as the Five-Star Competitive Edge Training. Upon completion, active members could have an opportunity to become an officer.
The 2017-2018 Phi Tau officer team was elected among the Phi Tau Chapter members on May 2017.
